Intensive Couples Therapy – IFS Healing for Deeper Connection

Intensive Couples Therapy – IFS Healing for Deeper Connection

Are you and your partner stuck in the same painful patterns, feeling more like adversaries than allies? Do weekly therapy sessions feel too slow to make the progress you long for?

IFS Intensive Couples Therapy offers a focused, transformative experience designed to help you reconnect and heal your relationship at the core.

What is IFS?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a gentle yet powerful therapeutic model that helps individuals understand and heal the different “parts” of themselves — the inner voices, emotions, and patterns that drive behavior. At the heart of IFS is the belief that everyone has a compassionate, wise Self that can lead healing and transformation.

How It Helps Couples:
In relationships, our protective parts often take over — the ones that criticize, shut down, lash out, or try to control — especially when we feel hurt or misunderstood. IFS helps each partner:

  • Identify the parts that get triggered in conflict

  • Understand the deeper wounds or fears those parts are protecting

  • Learn to speak and listen from a place of calm, clarity, and compassion

  • Build empathy and emotional safety with one another

Why Choose an Intensive?
Unlike traditional weekly therapy, intensives provide extended sessions (ranging from half-days to multiple days) that allow you to:

  • Dive deep into your relationship dynamics without the usual time limits

  • Make faster progress on long-standing issues

  • Step away from daily stressors and focus solely on your connection

  • Leave with a clearer path forward and tools for ongoing growth

    Who is This For?
IFS Intensives are ideal for couples who:

  • Feel stuck in cycles of conflict or emotional distance

  • Are recovering from betrayal or broken trust

  • Want to repair and rebuild intimacy

  • Are in crisis — or simply seeking deeper connection and understanding

    What to Expect:
Each intensive is tailored to your relationship's unique needs and may include:

  • Joint sessions to explore patterns and deepen connection

  • Individual sessions to work with your own parts

  • Psychoeducation on the IFS model and emotional triggers

  • Practical tools for communication and emotional regulation

    Ready to Reconnect?
IFS-based intensive therapy can be a turning point — helping you rediscover compassion, rebuild trust, and move forward together with a renewed sense of understanding.

Meet Jonah Bryan, LPC

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing since 2012, with advanced training in Internal Family Systems (Level One, IFS Institute), PACT and informed by the Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO) approach to couples work.

I'm passionate about helping couples reconnect, repair, and grow — especially when their relationship has been shaped by complex trauma, disconnection, or betrayal. I work with couples who feel stuck, alone, or overwhelmed by patterns they can’t seem to change. My goal is to help partners rediscover emotional safety, curiosity, and connection — even in the most difficult moments.

I’ve been married for 16 years and am a dad to two kids — one in elementary school, the other in middle school. I bring not only clinical expertise but also a grounded, real-world understanding of the joys and challenges of long-term relationship.

Whether you're healing after betrayal, navigating trauma in one or both partners, or simply longing to feel more connected — I’m here to help you move forward, together.
